something different.

this is a school project. i decided to work in the darkroom for a change. rather addictive, but i have a tendency to get frustrated and wind up with chemicals all over myself.

Ooooh that is wonderful! Epecially considering it's done in darkroom. Alana is a dicky, she said she looks freaky but she's fine. Bigger resolution would be nice though.

thanks dan :) it was a pain doing it in the darkroom. i kept thinking "maybe i should just scan the negs and do this on photoshop - it would take two seconds....no, i shouldn't....oh damn my artistic integrity!"

good experimenting. it is addictive.. I think it reminds me of work from Man Ray
may i ask what sort of process you used?

thanks! i didn't use any special process...just normal black and white development, solarisation, inverse print and solarisation of the inverse. dodged and burned a few areas but it was quite basic. oh, and im not sure about what chemicals i used, the film and paper was all ilford though.

give it a shot if you have a chance! it's one of those cliche darkroom experiments which every highschool photography student has to conduct at some point :P
